1. Sub Inspector (Executive/ Armed) - 658
2. Sub Inspector (Telecommunication Wing) - 40

Essential qualifications:

• Contenders should Possess Graduation Degree / Engineering Degree Qualification from an accredited board / university or institute.

Age Limitation:

• Applicants age should be in the range of 18 to 28 Years counted from 01-01-2016.
• Relaxation on upper Age-limit admissible to eligible categories of applicants, in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Central Government.

Recruitment Criteria:

The Applicant will be recommended for selection on the basis of their marks or merit in the Written Exam, Interview and Physical Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test.

Pay Scale or Total Emoluments:

On placement in JK Police, candidates will draw 
Rs. 9300 - 34,800/- With 4200/- Grade Pay  salary or in pay scale as per post and Grade pay.
