Age Limitation:

• Applicants age should be in the range of 18 to 21 Years (Post 1-16), 18 to 27 Years (Post 17) counted from 01-01-2016.
• Relaxation on upper Age-limit admissible to eligible categories of applicants, in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the Central Government.

Recruitment Criteria:

The Applicant will be recommended for selection on the basis of their marks or merit in the Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test, Interview.

Pay Scale or Total Emoluments: On placement in Meghalaya Police, candidates will draw a salary in the scale of Rs. 14100 - 27510/- (Category 1,2), Rs. 8300 - 16270/- (Category 3,4), Rs. 6500 - 12700/-(Category 5) Per month
